This is our preliminary tier list for all of the Bangboo that are currently in Zenless Zone Zero as of the 1.0 release. You might be asking, why a Bangboo tier list? Simple! They are tied to the gacha (aka money) mechanic, and you should know rather what you got or are gunning for is good! Think of them as pets in other gacha games. This list will be updated regularly as new updates and balance changes are implemented to ZZZ, so stay tuned!

Attention, all proxies! This is a list of all available bangboo that are willing to assist you on commissions. We will be going over the bangboo, their ranking, and simple explanation as to why they've earned their rank!

Tier List Explanation
- S Tier: These bangboo not only offer game altering stats or damage bonuses, but also provide buffs to the squad making them very valuable.
- A Tier: The bangboo that typically offer game altering stats or damage bonuses, but no direct buffs to the team.
- B Tier: These bangboo offer decent stats / damage bonuses, or mild buffs and debuffs
- C Tier: The bangboo that offer small stat increases or damage bonuses
S Tier
Avocaboo
Avocaboo is at the top of this tier list simply due to the fact that it can heal, that simple. In a game where healing is rare (there are currently no agents that can heal), it's very valuable for when you make mistakes, especially for bosses.
Butler
Butler can help your team regenerate a lot of energy for faster skill rotations.
Paperboo
Paperboo can generate a beefy shield for the entire team, providing valuable damage mitigation which will come in handy in the games end game conent.
A Tier
Sharkboo
Excellent pick for an ice team, as when there are 2 or more Ice Attribute characters in your squad: Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts 100% more Anomaly Buildup, allowing you to trigger freeze more often.
Bangolver
Excellent pick for a physical team, as when there are 2 or more Physical Attribute characters in your squad: Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts 100% more Anomaly Buildup, allowing you to trigger the powerful Assault anomaly more often.
Plugboo
Excellent pick for an electric team, as when there are 2 or more Electric Attribute characters in your squad: Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts 100% more Anomaly Buildup, allowing you to trigger shock more often.
Resonaboo
Excellent pick for an ether team, as when there are 2 or more Ether Attribute characters in your squad: Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts 100% more Anomaly Buildup, allowing you to trigger corruption more often.
Rocketboo
Excellent pick for a fire team, as when there are 2 or more Fire Attribute characters in your squad: Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts 100% more Anomaly Buildup, allowing you to trigger burn more often.
Magnetiboo
Great Bangboo for dealing with huge waves of enemies because of it's grouping capabilities. Works especially well with Nicole in the squad.
Amillion
If you have 2 cunning hares agents and take Amillion along with you on a boss fight, they can deal an impressive 45% damage attack, taking out a huge chunk of the bosses health when a chain attack is triggered.
Booressure
A weaker version of Butler, but if you have at least one support character in your squad, this bangboo generates an additional 60% Energy for off-field characters.
Safety
If you have 2 belobog industry agents and take Safety along with you on a boss fight, they can deal an impressive 40% damage attack, taking out a huge chunk of the bosses health when a chain attack is triggered.
B Tier
Exploreboo
Exploreboo has an RNG buff mechanic that can either heal, provide an HP shield, or give you some extra energy to the agent currently on the field. While the buffs are small, the healing or providing a shield can protect you from life and death.
Cryboo
A weaker version of Rocketboo, but still very good for a fire team.
Devilboo
A weaker version of Resonaboo, but still very good for an ether team.
Electroboo
A weaker version of Plugboo, but still very good for an electric team.
Penguinboo
A weaker version of Sharkboo, but still very good for an ice team.
Sumoboo
Being able to provide 18% bonus Daze to their attack if there is at least one Stun unit available is nice, but others higher up in B tier and above might serve you better overall, hence why this is at the bottom.
C Tier
Bagboo
Bagboo can provide a decent amount of chain damage if there is at least one attack agent on your squad, but the scaling does not come close to the amount of damage that Safety and Amillion can dish out.
Boollseye
Boollseye can provide a decent amount of chain damage if there is at least one pierce type agent on your squad, but the scaling does not come close to the amount of damage that Safety and Amillion can dish out.
Update / Change Log
Updates / changes to the tier list will go here, as well as brief explanations. Usually as gacha games get older and get more updates, power-creep is introduced, causing pets (bangboo) to move down the list in order to make new pets more appealing, so expect the same here.
