Immersive Tactical Drill Event Guide

Stage 1 - Chaotic Electric Field

Challenge Targets

No.Challenge Target
1Complete Chaotic Electric Field
2Inflict Attribute Anomaly 10 times
3Complete the stage with all Agents' HP greater than 30%

Trigger Requirements & Buff

Trigger RequirementsUpon inflicting Attribute Anomaly
Buff: OverchargedUpon inflicting Attribute Anomaly: Increases all squad members' Anomaly Proficiency by 50, and Energy Generation Rate by 50% for 15 seconds.

Recommended Teams

You can complete the stage and get all rewards just by using all the trial characters and trial Bangboo. Here are other team examples:

Team 1Grace, Rina, Anton, Electroboo (Trial Characters only)
Team 2 Grace, Anton, Qingyi, Plugboo
Team 3Grace, Jane, Rina, Plugboo

Electric characters are important here since all enemies are weak to Electric. If you want to bring other elements, don't bring Fire character because the 2 bosses in the last wave have high resistance against Fire.

How to Beat Chaotic Electric Field

1) Inflict Shock Attribute Anomaly

Electric Attribute Anomaly

In this stage, you want to inflict Shock (Attribute Anomaly) as much as you can. If you're new, you might be wondering; what is Attribute Anomaly?

When an Agent deals Attribute damage, they inflict a certain amount of Anomaly Buildup. Once a certain level of buildup is reached, the enemy will be afflicted with an Attribute Anomaly debuff of the corresponding Attribute. The enemy's current Attribute Anomaly Buildup is displayed to the right of the health bar.

In this stage, we get a full Electric team so Shock is the Anomaly Buildup that we will get because Electric will trigger the Shock effect.

Dealing Electric DMG to enemies accumulates Electric Anomaly Buildup, which triggers the Shock effect.

2) Prioritize Using Grace

Grace is a great option for this stage because of her Core Skill, which increases Electric Anomaly Buildup by consuming stacks of Zap.

What you have to do is use Grace's Basic ATK or Dash Attack to gain a stack of Zap (the icon below Grace's HP bar). Once Zap reaches 8 stacks, use her Special Attack or EX Special Attack to consume all the stacks and increase the accumulated Electric Anomaly Buildup. This way, the enemies will enter the Shock state much faster and you can get the stage buff.

3) Line Up All The Mobs

In the first few waves, the mobs spawned are Scout Jaeger and Private Jaeger. Try to group the enemies in a line by positioning your character to face all of them so Grace has an easier time hitting all of them (since her Basic Attack has a wide AoE).

Stage 2 - Artificial Snowscape

Challenge Targets

No.Challenge Target
1Complete Artificial Snowscape
2Launch EX Special Attacks 10 times
3Complete the stage with all Agents' HP greater than 30%

Trigger Requirements & Buff

Trigger RequirementsUpon inflicting an EX Special Attack
Buff: Dissonant SymphonyUpon inflicting an EX Special Attack: Basic Attack Crit Rate of all squad members increases by 20%, and Crit DMG increases by 80% for 15 seconds.

Recommended Teams

You can complete the stage and get all rewards just by using all the trial characters and trial Bangboo. Here are other team examples:

Team 1Lycaon, Ellen, Soukaku, Penguinboo (Trial Characters only)
Team 2 Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, Nicole, Resonaboo
Team 3Zhu Yuan, Anby, Nicole, Resonaboo

The trigger requirement is pretty easy since every character can trigger an EX Special Attack so you can bring any team you want. But the best team would be the Ice or Ether team because the bosses are weak in said elements.

How to Beat Artificial Snowscape

1) Time the EX Special Attack

Special Attack
EX Special Attack

In this stage, EX Special Attack plays an important role in getting the buff. Remember that Special Attack and EX Special Attack are different. You can only get the stage buff after triggering the latter.
You can trigger EX Special Attack only if you have enough Energy. You can collect that Energy by using any of each character's Combat Skills (Basic Attack, Special Attack, Assist, etc.).
Since it's not that easy to gain Energy, try to time the stage and buff and use your EX Special Attack wisely.

2) Beat the Long-Ranged Boss First

In the last wave, two bosses (more like high-rank enemies instead of bosses) will appear which are Metro Goblin and Arlaune. Among these 2, aim for Arlaune first because it's a ranged attack enemy and it won't move to chase after you like Metro Goblin.

Of course, Metro Goblin won't just sit still and watch you defeat its ally so this one will also try to attack you from any angle. When you're focusing on Arlaune, make sure to also keep an eye out on Metro Goblin to wait for the Perfect Assist opportunity to occur.

Stage 3 - Special Combat Training

Challenge Targets

No.Challenge Target
1Complete Special Combat Training
2Stun enemies 10 times
3Complete the stage with all Agents' HP greater than 30%

Trigger Requirements & Buff

Trigger RequirementsUpon stunning an enemy
Buff: Head-OnUpon stunning an enemy: All squad members deal 50% more DMG to Stunned enemies, and Crit DMG of all squad members increased by 50% for 15 seconds.

Recommended Teams

You can complete the stage and get all rewards just by using all the trial characters and trial Bangboo. Here are other team examples:

Team 1Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, Nicole, Devilboo (Trial Characters only)
Team 2 Grace, Anton, Qingyi, Plugboo

If you want to add another character to the team for your preferences, that is also okay. But remember that the 2 last bosses in this stage have high resistance to Fire, so try not to bring a Fire team. Especially since said team can't fulfill one of the challenge targets (stun enemies).

How to Beat Special Combat Training

1) Group Enemies to Stun All of Them / Stun Enemies One by One

The star of the show here is Qingyi as she is (currently) the best stunner in the game. Since one of the challenge targets is to stun enemies 10 times, you need to make Qingyi have the most active time on the field so she can fulfill that requirement. There are 2 strategies you can use here:

(1st method) Group enemies in one place and stun them all together. Nicole is one of the trial characters and her EX Special Attack can group light enemies in one place so you can use that to your advantage. Once the enemies are grouped together, you can use Qingyi to stun them all in one place.

(2nd method) From the start, focus on attacking enemies one by one without grouping them so you are guaranteed to stun at least 10 enemies before the last wave comes. Remember that you can stun the same enemies as long as they have recovered from the previous stun state (if they miraculously haven't died yet).

2) Focus on Assault Gunner in the Last Wave

In the last wave with 2 bosses (Heavy Striker MK II and Assault Gunner), focus on Assault Gunner first because he is a ranged attacker. He won't get near you so it's your job to get near him. Don't worry about the Heavy Striker MK II because that robot will jump after you.

3) Use Electric ATK when Heavy Striker MK II Puts Up a Shield

During combat, this boss will deploy a shield (you can see by the blue HP bar inside its HP bar). While shielded, it will accumulate Electric Anomaly Buildup. Switch to Qingyi and have her trigger Shock or Stun to break the shield. If you don't do this, that shield will soak up damage from your DPS so it won't scratch them.

Stage 4 - Armored Siege

Challenge Targets

No.Challenge Target
1Complete Armored Siege
2Trigger Perfect Assist 6 times
3Complete the stage with all Agents' HP greater than 30%

Trigger Requirements & Buff

Trigger RequirementsUpon launching a Perfect Assist
Buff: High-Pressure BarrierUpon launching a Perfect Assist: Generates Shield equal to 10% of Max HP and gain a buff for 15 seconds. While the buff is active, Shielded Agents' DMG increases by 50% and Anti-Interrupt Level increases as well.

Recommended Teams

You can complete the stage and get all rewards just by using all the trial characters and trial Bangboo. Here are other team examples:

Team 1Soldier 11, Koleda, Ben, Cryboo (Trial Characters only)
Team 2 Koleda, Lucy, Zhu Yuan, Rocketboo

They graciously provides us with Fire trial characters to a stage full of enemies weak to Fire so it's better to take advantage of that. But if you want to add variety, feel free to bring anyone as long as they are not Electric-character because these enemies have high resistance to Electric.

How to Beat Armored Siege

1) Pay Attention to Perfect Assist Cues

Perfect Assist can be triggered when you tap the [Space] button on PC during the golden flashing prompt on enemies. If you time it perfectly, you will switch to next Agent and launch a Perfect Assist.

Of course, you need Assist Points to launch the Perfect Assist. You can get these points by triggering Chain Attacks or Ultimates. But don't worry since you will start the stage with full 6 Assist Points. Throughout the battle, you should be able to get Assist Points gradually.

2) Control the Camera to View Enemies

Don't just focus on one enemy because the others won't stand on the side and watch you beat up their ally. Instead, control the camera so you can look at the enemies on your rear so you can see the Perfect Assist cues even on the enemies not in front of you.

Stage 5 - Reinforcement Operations

Challenge Targets

No.Challenge Target
1Complete Reinforcement Operations
2Trigger Quick Assist 5 times
3Complete the stage with all Agents' HP greater than 30%

Trigger Requirements & Buff

Trigger RequirementsUpon launching a Quick Assist
Buff: Synchronized HarmonyUpon launching a Quick Assist: All squad members' DMG dealt increases by 50% and the next Quick Assist will be replaced by a Chain Attack for 15 seconds.

Recommended Teams

You can complete the stage and get all rewards just by using all the trial characters and trial Bangboo.
If you want to bring other teams, don't bring ice characters because the bosses in the last wave have high resistance to Ice. Sigh otherwise Ellen and Soukaku would've made the cut.

How to Beat Reinforcement Operations

1) Learn the Differences

Quick Assist is different than Perfect Assist. During certain circumstances, the Switch icon will be replaced with the teammate on the next/previous squad member portrait. This indicates that a Quick Assist is possible. Tap the Assist button to trigger the Quick Assist.

Nicole's Quick Assist
Seth's Quick Assist

Both Nicole and Seth can trigger Quick Assist with different methods. Nicole can trigger Quick Assist by using her EX Special Attack while Seth can trigger Quick Assist by holding his Basic ATK once his Resolve is greater than 75%. But remember that Nicole will trigger the Quick Assist of the next squad member while Seth trigger the Quick Assist of the previous squad member.

I'm sorry Nicole

Of course, there are other methods on how to trigger Quick Assist like getting knocked back and others, which you will experience when battling on the stage.

2) Place Jane As The Middle Squad Member

As I mentioned before, Nicole will trigger Quick Assist for the next member while Seth trigger the previous one. Place Jane in the middle so she can take advantage of both squad members. Other than that, go berserk with the combat.

Stage 6 - Evasion Simulation

Challenge Targets

No.Challenge Target
1Complete Evasion Simulation
2Trigger Dodge Counter 10 times
3Complete the stage with all Agents' HP greater than 30%

Trigger Requirements & Buff

Trigger RequirementsUpon launching a Dodge Counter
Buff: Synchronized HarmonyUpon launching a Dodge Counter: Anomaly Buildup Rate of all squad members increases by 25%, and Attribute Anomaly DMG increases by 80% for 15 seconds.

Recommended Teams

You can complete the stage and get all rewards just by using all the trial characters and trial Bangboo.
If you want to bring other teams, don't bring ice characters because the bosses in the last wave have high resistance to Ice.

How To Beat Evasion Simulation

1) Don't Forget to Attack After Dodging

When you read Dodge Counter, some may missed the word Counter and just Dodge and hoping to get the buff. But that's not how it work. What you need to do is wait for enemies' cue to attack (red or golden flashing prompt > dodge at that moment > immediately attack to complete the Dodge Counter. In other words, you need to DODGE then COUNTERATTACK.

2) Position The Characters Nicely

Don't just focus on the Counter Dodge. Hope you still remember Quick Assist in the previous stages. If you remember, Seth will trigger the Quick Assist for the previous party member. Lucy, another Trial Character in this stage, can also trigger Quick Assist via her EX Special Attack, but she will trigger the Quick Assist for the next party member.
That's why, place Jane > Seth > Lucy in the party composition.

Stage 7 - Advanced Drill I

Challenge Targets

No.Challenge Target
1Complete Advanced Drill I
2Complete the stage with no fallen Agents
3Complete the stage with all Agents' HP greater than 30%

Recommended Teams & Buff

All the Trial Characters from stage 1 until stage 6 is available so you can go wild with your needs. But when you choose a team, do not bring an Ice team because the last bosses have high resistance to Ice.
Instead, bring a team of Physical or Fire DPS.

Recommended TeamJane + Seth + Qingyi + Electroboo
Trigger RequirementsUpon triggering a Dodge Counter
Combat Buffs(1) Overcharged
(2) High-Pressure Barrier

How To Beat Advanced Drill I

There are many mobs in the first wave. If you don't bring Nicole, you can only focus on defeating the enemies one by one. But if you do bring Nicole, you can use her EX Special Attack that can pulls enemies towards her energy field.

I hesitated between choosing the Dodge Counter or Perfect Assist as the Trigger Requirements, but after challenging the stage, I noticed that the red flashing cues are much higher in numbers than golden flashing cues so I decide the best would be Dodge Counter. You'll have an easier time to get the Combat Buffs by dodging and countering instead of Perfect Assist.
Note: I may be wrong and you might have high numbers of golden flashing cues for Perfect Assist but remember that you can pretty much dodge all attacks and counter but you need to have that golden flashing cues to trigger Perfect Assist.

Do not forget to look to the top right corner and see whether your combat buff has ended. When you see it's only a few seconds left, immediately stop what you're doing and look at the enemies for cues to do a Dodge Counter to get the Combat Buff back.

Stage 8 - Advanced Drill II

Challenge Targets

No.Challenge Target
1Complete Advanced Drill II
2Complete the stage with no fallen Agents
3Complete the stage with all Agents' HP greater than 30%

Recommended Teams & Buff

Recommended TeamZhu Yuan + Qingyi + Nicole + Devilboo
Trigger RequirementsUpon stunning an enemy
Combat Buffs(1) Dissonant Symphony
(2) Synchronized Harmony

Enemy weakness is Electric while the resistance is Fire. You know why I choose stun as the trigger requirements. Qingyi is the best character for this requirement because she's the best stunner in the game currently! In addition, Qingyi is also a great addition for many other teams, you can choose other main DPS and Support if you want, but Qingyi shouldn't be replaced (if you choose stunning enemy as the trigger requirement).

How To Beat Advanced Drill II

Switch to Qingyi first and spam her Basic ATK until you get at least one stunned enemy to get the combat buff. Conveniently, her continuous hit after the 3rd Basic ATK kind of pull enemies in so you don't have to worry about mobs spreading too far from each other. After that, you can switch to other characters to dish out more damage.

In the second wave, the two enemies are ranged attacker so they won't get too near to you. Unless you bring Nicole to try and pull them to one spot, you can only focus on them one by one. Or, you can stand in front of them and make a straight line of the two enemies. Then, attack the enemy at the front until they staggered back, getting near to the enemy at the back.

Stage 9 - Advanced Drill III

Challenge Targets

No.Challenge Target
1Complete Advanced Drill III
2Complete the stage with no fallen Agents
3Complete the stage with all Agents' HP greater than 30%

Recommended Teams & Buff

Recommended TeamEllen + Lycaon + Soukaku + Penguinboo
Trigger RequirementsUpon launching an EX Special Attack
Combat Buffs(1) Overcharged
(2) Dissonant Symphony

The enemies here are weak to Ice and Ether and have no other resistance. So you can bring along Zhu Yuan team or Ellen team.

How To Beat Advanced Drill III

Since we enter the stage with 0 Energy, we can't trigger the Combat Buff easily. But don't worry because the enemies in the first wave have low HP and can easily be defeated by the 3 Ice characters in the team even without the Combat Buff. By the second wave, you should have an ample of Energy to start spamming EX Special Attack.

In the second wave, go for Arlaune because it is a ranged attacker while Farbauti is a melee attacker. If you get near Arlaune, Farbauti will come after you themselves. When attacking the flower enemy, make sure to also look at Farbauti and dodge / Perfect Assist any incoming attacks from him lest you get staggered.
