Qingyi in Zenless Zone Zero is an limited S-rank Stun Agent who deals electric anomaly damage. As she is a stun Agent, she acts as the team's main stun DPS, able to increase the stun multiplier of enemies thanks to her unique mechanic Subjugation.

Overview
Currently available on the limited banner as of version 1.1, Qingyi, an android who is a member of the Special Response Team, is an electric elemental damage agent that is able to acts as the team's stun agent. What makes her stand out from other S-Rank stun agents is her unique mechanic Subjugation, which after landing her enhanced blossoms basic attack and upon executing a perfect dodge during the finishing strike, she is able to apply stacks of Subjugation, which each stack increasing the enemies stun dmg multiplier by 2%. This allows her and her team to more easily apply stun damage, so while she herself is not the best at applying stun directly like Lycaon, she allows her team to deal additional stun damage.

W-Engines
S - Ice-Jade Teapot
⭐ Impact
- When a Basic Attack hits an enemy, gain 1 stack of Tea-riffic. Each stack of Tea-riffic increases the user's Impact by 0.7/0.88/1.05/1.22/1.4%, stacking up to 30 times, and lasting for 8s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. Upon acquiring Tea-riffic, if the equipper possesses stacks of Tea-riffic greater than or equal to 15, all squad members' DMG is increased by 20/23/26/29/32% for 10s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.
- As Qingyi's signature W-Engine, this W-Engine fits perfectly with her kit, which relies heavily on basic attacks. Considering her basic attacks already have a stacking mechanic in the form of Subjugation, this will give it an additional stacking mechanic which will increase the overall stun damage Qingyi deals, as well as offer team utility by increasing the squad's damage.
S - The Restrained
⭐ Impact
- When an attack hits an enemy, DMG and Daze from Basic Attacks increase by 6/7.5/9/10.5/12% for 8s, stacking up to 5 times. This effect can trigger at most once during each skill. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
- Similar to Ice-Jade Teapot, as Qingyi relies heavily on basic attacks, this W-Engine further enhances the amount of damage and stun that she will deal while using her basic attacks.
S - Hellfire Gears
⭐ Impact
- When off-field, the equipper's Energy Regen increases by 0.6/0.75/0.9/1.5/1.2 per second. When using an EX Special Attack, the equipper's Impact is increased by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% for 10s, stacking up to 2 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
- As Qingy's EX Special is able to be held in order to combo, that makes Hellfire Gears a very solid pick to increase the impact for Qingyi.
A - Steam Oven
⭐ Energy Regen
- For every 10 Energy accumulated, the equipper's Impact is increased by 2/2.3/2.6/2.9/3.2%, stacking up to 8 times. After Energy is consumed, this bonus remains for 8 more seconds. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
- At the end of Qingyi's EX Special, upon using her basic attack, it goes straight to the third attack, meaning you can quickly make the most use out of Steam Engine with this rotation with increased impact, not to mention the energy regen main stat making it so that she is able to use her EX Special much more often.
A - Six Shooter
⭐ Impact
- The equipper gains a Charge stack every 3s, stacking up to 6 times. When launching an EX Special Attack, consumes all Charge stacks, and each stack increases the Daze inflicted by 4/4.6/5.2/5.8/6.4%.
- Similar to Hellfire Gears, this W-Engine is more suited for if you plan to have Qingyi off-field more often then being on-field, and when switched in, unleash her EX Special in order to deal a big amount of stun damage very quickly.

Option 1 - "Rapid Charge"
4 Piece Shockstar Disco
(2) Increases Impact by 6%.
(4) Basic Attacks, Dash Attacks, and Dodge Counters, inflict 20% more Daze upon the main target.
2 Piece Swing Jazz

This build goes extremely well with Qingyi's Signature W-Engine, Ice-Jade Teapot, and her kit as well, as basic attacks activate the stacks needed to increase the stun multiplier of enemies, 4 piece shockstar disco will increase the daze damage dealt with those basic attacks, overall increasing her efficiency by a lot. With swing jazz, she will be able to use her EX Special more often.
Option 2 - "Battery Overcharge"
4 Piece Shockstar Disco

2 Piece Thunder Metal

Sub stats in order of priority:

This build is suited for if you want Qingyi to perform better as a damage dealer, as she is already able to deal decent damage compared to other stun agents. As Shockstar Disco goes so well with her kit, you should always use the 4 piece set, with the 2 piece Thunder Metal increasing her overall DPS.
Skill Priority
ALWAYS PRIOIRITZE CORE SKILL FIRST!!!
1. As most of Qingyi's kit revolves around and stun damage comes from her basic attack, this should be your number one priority.
2. Upgrading her special will increase the damage and stun dealt, you should upgrade this alongside her basic attack.
3. As perfect dodging is a big part of her kit in order to increase Subjugation stacks, along with her dodge counter dealing a good amount of stun damage, you should Dodge as third priority.
4. Qingyi's chain attack deals a decent amount of daze, so have this as your fourth.
5. While her assist does some daze, it does not deal enough to justify putting this anywhere but the bottom of priority compared to the rest of her skills.
Bangboo
S - Officer Cui
Key Trait - When there are 2 or more Criminal Investigation Special Response Team characters in your squad: After using an Active Skill, there is a 50% chance to trigger a follow-up with 1 extra hit, up to a maximum of 3 consecutive triggers. Bangboo Chain Attack DMG increases by 35%.
If you are using the Zhu Yuan team comp, you will have 2 members of Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, which in that case, Officer Cui will be able to deal a great deal of physical damage with their active skill, along with increasing the damage of it's chain attack, making it great for dealing with elites and bosses.
S - Resonaboo
Key Trait - When there are 2 or more Ether Attribute characters in your squad: Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts 100% more Anomaly Buildup.
Another option for the Zhu Yuan team comp, Reasonaboo will make it easier to apply Corruption to the enemy with it's bonus ether anomaly buildup.
S - Plugboo
Key Trait - When there are 2 or more Electric Attribute characters in your squad: Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts 100% more Anomaly Buildup.
If you are using the Electric team comp, this Bangboo will make it easier to apply Shock with it's bonus electric anomaly buildup.
A - Devilboo
Key Trait - When there are at least 2 Ether Attribute characters in your squad: Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts 40% more Anomaly Buildup. After activating Bangboo Chain Attack, the coordination state lasts for 5 more seconds and can activate 4 more times.
A rank alternative to Reasonaboo, still able to serve an ether centric team very well.
A - Electroboo
Key Trait - When there are at least 2 Electric Attribute characters in your squad: Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts 60% more Anomaly Buildup.
A rank alternative to Plugboo, still able to serve an electric centric team very well.
Optimal Team Comps
Team 1 - Ether / Zhu Yuan DPS
This Zhu Yuan / Ether centric team consisting of Qingyi, Zhu Yuan, and Nicole ensures that everyone in the team has their additional ability, and in the case of Anby, her basic attacks deal 20% increased Daze. If Qingyi's Impact is greater than 120, each point over increases her Attack by 6, up to a maximum of 600. As Qingyi only needs an attack agent in the squad, she is very versatile and can fit on many teams, but for Nicole, the only other Ether agent in the game next to Zhu Yuan, would require Zhu Yuan in order to unlock her additional ability. Besides that, Nicole is able to decrease the enemies defense, allowing Zhu Yuan and Qingyi to deal increased damage.
Team 2 - Electric
This mono-electric team, consisting of Qingyi, Rina, and Anton, not only grants the team additional abilities but also forms a highly powerful shock-centric squad. Rina's ability to increase the team's Pen Ratio will boost their overall damage, while Anton's rapid attacks, combined with Qingyi's power to enhance the enemy's stun multiplier, will make it easier to stun enemies.
Overall Thoughts
Although she may be slightly outperformed in solo stuns by someone like Lycaon, her team utility shines through with her ability to boost everyone's stun capability through her Subjugation stacks. Coupled with her superior damage-dealing potential compared to other stun agents, this makes her stand out as one of the best stun units in the game.
